Healthy communities, healthy partnerships - a learning symposium

This event offered an opportunity to hear from and share learning experiences with the pathfinder authorities who have been involved in the shared priority between central and local government for healthier communities and reducing health inequalities. In particular, delegates had an opportunity to discuss some of the key themes arising from the shared priorities such as leadership, mainstreaming, engaging communities and partners.

Department of Health Minister for Public Health, Caroline Flint MP, addressed the event and will launch the IDeA’s new capacity building programme to support local authorities in delivering this agenda.
