Views sought on school libraries
The school library commission, chaired by Baroness Estelle Morris, has announced its intended lines of enquiry and is looking for responses from schools, councils and any other interested bodies. Jonathan Douglas, director of the National Literacy Trust, said: “We strongly urge all individuals and organisations who are committed to the future of school libraries to submit their ideas to the commission.” Details are available via www.mla.gov.uk
