an IDeA / NPIA conference

The future of neighbourhood policing is inextricably linked to neighbourhood management.

This groundbreaking conference brings together twelve English and Welsh Integrated Service Delivery Exemplar Sites, selected for their excellence in neighbourhood level partnership working and community engagement, with a range of international sites, allowing delegates to compare, contrast and learn from a broad range of experiences.

At this event you will have the opportunity to learn:

  • how to best align services
  • how to solve problems in partnerships to meet with local needs
  • how British practices compare with those in other countries

Workshops content will include:

  • involving communities in neighbourhood partnerships
  • collaborative problem solving
  • identifying and tackling the issues most relevant to residents
  • improving public confidence
  • communication skills at a neighbourhood level
  • developing a local sense of belonging
  • using the neighbourhood policing model to deliver a broader range of public services

This is a rare opportunity to access such a wide base of knowledge.
