The LGA group has designed a totally new public services innovation conference, which will take place at the Business Design Centre in London on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 November.  An innovative programme has been put together specifically aimed at local authority managers responsible for designing, developing, leading and commissioning council services.

Throughout the conference, delegates will work together to develop frontline innovations to tackle not only the big challenges such as demographic and climate change, housing, youth crime and disengaged young people but also the immediate challenges created as the credit crunch bites, including developing policies and new ways of doing things to help people respond to economic challenges and get through the current financial turmoil.

reasons to attend:

  • an opportunity to hear from some of the leading innovative thinkers in their field including Charlie Leadbeater, Jonathan Kestenbaum, Paul Sloane, Sir Michael Bichard;
