Pushing back the frontiers: the multi-area agreement pioneers

Published by LGA

The LGA's vision for the development of multi-area agreements (MAAs) is set out in this new report, Pushing back the frontiers: the multi area agreement pioneers. It argues that MAAs are a local government initiative that has the potential to change the way that councils and government agencies work together to challenge the artificial limits of boundaries. The report contains a wealth of case studies about what is being achieved by existing partnerships and the ambitions of partnerships that hope to be included in the first wave of MAAs due to be launched in June 2008.
