The Local Government Group, in partnership with the Local Government Channel, is looking for the next generation of top local government executives.
The Local Government Challenge, sponsored by Liberata and launched at the LG Group Annual Conference 2009, is designed to give staff with the drive and determination to reach the top the opportunity to demonstrate their individual and team-working skills. Open to employees in the LGA’s member councils, contestants will undertake a series of challenges in a range of council services.
Ten contestants were announced in November 2009 and three challenges have now taken place. The third, hosted by Northampton, was entitled "Raising the Bar". Watch the main video below to find out how the teams fared, or use the lower panel arrows to access the Coventry challenge, the Waverley and Surrey challenge and the auditions.
