This event will help you understand not just the policy background but put you in touch with the people who can assist you to drive forward renewable energy development in your area.
The opportunities will vary from place to place - depending on the geography, the building stock and density and local supply chains. But the drive for renewable energy will touch each and every area - offering opportunities to cut carbon, improve resilience to fossil fuel price increases and shortages and new approaches to fuel poverty.
We are working with the Renewable Energy Association to deliver this conference where they will be launching their new local authority support service.

LGA member organisation rate

Overseas delegates
Delegates from outside the UK who wish to attend an LGA conference must submit their applications, and funds must be cleared, to reach the LGA no later than 6 weeks before the conference in the case of a residential conference, or no later than 4 weeks before a one day conference. Bookings from overseas delegates will be subject to the cancellation policy specified on the booking form.

Due to the pressures on the provision of BSL interpreters, the LGA will need 6 weeks notice to provide this service.
